Since we have started the renovation I have started to study my favorite kitchens. I realized they all have one thing in common-- FARMHOUSE SINKS. What are your thoughts? Do you have one? Love or hate?
Ikea $312
Amazon Belle Foret $432
Overstock Fire Clay $712
Kohler $920
Farmhouse sinks are not cheap. Luckily, Ikea has an affordable option for a budget kitchen renovation.
I would love to hear your thoughts on farmhouse sinks! Do you think they are worth it?
My dad has one in his house and I love it. I think your kitchen is going to be my dream!!! Cannot wait to see it.
ReplyDeleteI love them! I can't wait to see what you decide :)
ReplyDeleteMy mom has one at her house in white and I absolutely love it- it's so nice to have such a deep sink.
ReplyDeleteHey Jessie! Jay and I bought the Ikea one when renovating our kitchen and we love it! It weighs a ton and Jay had to add supports to our cabinets to make sure it was stable. If you need any help during installation, I'm sure he would be glad to talk to you about what he did. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteI don't have one but I desperately want one!
ReplyDeleteOMG They are gorgeous. They make washing dishes a breeze - and cooking!

I absolutely LOVE farmhouse sinks. I declared years ago that if I ever to get design my future kitchen - it is #1 on the list! Definitely go for it! (have I said that I'm jealous yet??!!)

We have a farmhouse sink and I simply ADORE it. Will be going into our new kitchen too for sure.
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE them...I would recommend one without the divider in it because it makes cleaning large platters, etc SO much easier because they actually fit down inside your sink!

I love farmhouse sinks! I just love the look of them so classic!
ReplyDeleteI love these sinks. Of course the one I liked the best was the most expensive. Oy! Dominique has a point about the divider though..it would be easier to clean large pieces without one! xoxo elizabeth
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with all these kitchens you have here, and LOVE farmhouse sinks!
ReplyDeleteLoooove farmhouse sinks. I want one. I think worth it, but I don't like the ones with the divider. I feel like if you go farm house, you have to go all the way! It's too much like another traditional sink if it has the divider.
ReplyDeleteI am more than slightly jealous of your kitchen renovation! I love, love, love farmhouse sinks. I agree with no divider. If you can afford to toss in 120 more buck-a-roo's, I would go with the one from Amazon. But if you don't mind the divider, I think the Ikea one is very pretty and easy on the wallet! Can't wait to see pictures!
ReplyDeleteI installed the Belle Foret sink in a kitchen and it's great!
ReplyDeleteI love a farmhouse sink - go for it!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE farmhouse sinks! They are so aesthetically pleasing! I love your blog by the way! Hope you had a great weekend.
